Poet

I've been fortunate enough to see my poems published in After Hours, VOX, The Green Muse, Empowerment4Women, X Magazine, The Aurora Review, LanguageandCulture.net, Illya's Honey, and various other magazines and journals. Although I also enjoy other types of writing, poetry has been my first love since grade school.
Editor-in-Chief

As Editor-in-Chief of the bi-monthly new e-zine, HereThere Magazine, I work to make sure that every issue is true to the publication's mission, which is to support, encourage and inform artists of all kinds as they work to get where it is they want to go in life and in art. The first issue of HereThere appeared online on March 1, 2008.
Host

Happily, I am the host of Poet's Kitchen, an online show produced by myself and the extraordinary Ellen O'Donnell. On Poet's Kitchen, I interview Chicago poets as they cook for me in their kitchens. If you're thinking that the show is realy just a way for me to get free food, you'd mostly be right. Poet's Kitchen airs every other month on
www.poetskitchen.com.
Freelancer

In order to pay the bills and fund my other projects, I freelance write for various corporations and business across the country. As a freelancer, I write or ghost write corporate/professional business articles, and write and design newsletters, flyers, web content and other marketing/advertising materials.
